The Governor’s Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities offers an annual journalism contest, the winner of which receives a 4-year scholarship to the South Carolina state-supported institution of his or her choice provided that the winner is otherwise qualified. The contest is open to high school seniors, or those otherwise qualified to begin post-secondary education no later than the 2027-2028 school year.
Applicants do NOT have to have a disability to enter.
Entries must be postmarked no later than January 15, 2027.
