Spring Sports Recognition Week and Dodgeball Game

The week of March 27th through 31st the Mid-Carolina Student Council will sponsor a Spring Sports Recognition Week to celebrate all of our Spring Sports Athletes in conjunction of a joint fundraiser to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and future student council activities.  During the week, students and faculty members are encouraged to participate in this celebration by participating in the following dress up days throughout the week:  

Monday- students may pay $1 to wear a hat (please pay at lunch on Friday 3/24/23, a sticker will be given to your first block teacher)

Tuesday- dress up like a baseball/softball player or coach OR  wear MCHS spirit wear/colors

Wednesday- dress up like a Lacross player or golfer OR wear MCHS spirit wear/colors 

Thursday- dress up like a soccer player, coach or soccer mom/dad OR wear MCHS spirit wear/colors

Friday- students wear black and faculty wear red in honor or our Rebels Track and Boys Tennis teams  

On Friday, all Rebels are welcome to free pink cake at lunch courtesy of the MCHS Student Council and Cafeteria Staff.  

Throughout the week, Student Council will host a dodgeball tournament between student teams who will compete for the title of Rebels Dodgeball Champions and a chance to defeat the MCHS faculty in a student vs. faculty game Friday afternoon. Students who wish to attend the game may buy a ticket for $3 at lunch Monday through Friday of that week. 

We still have room for 2 student teams (maximum 10 people per team) to sign up to play in the tournament. Students can register their team by filling out this Google Form,  https://forms.gle/PnVfkrZLCV7kRH528 , and paying the $10 registration fee to Mrs. Hayes in room 502 or Mrs. Long in the office.
