Hispanic heritage month

On Monday, October 21, students, faculty, and staff were treated to a Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration during first Connections.

The focus of the program was on the quinceañera, which is a celebration of a girl's 15th birthday that originated in Aztec culture.

It's a rite of passage that marks the transition from girlhood to womanhood, and is celebrated in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Latino communities in the United States. (Source: Google)
