On Monday, October 24, Mid-Carolina hosted the Region 2 AA Championship.
The girls' team won the Region title with a perfect low score of 15! All-Region Medalist are 1st: Cameron Wicker (21:16), 2nd: Claire Hawkins (24:01), 3rd: Meredith Koon (24:03), 4th: Anna Grace Morris (24:46), 5th: Madison Ringer (25:20). Finishing out the State Qualifier Girls team are 8th place: Zoey Buckley and 9th place: Katileena Griggs. The boys' team was Region Runner-Up. All-Region Medalists were Adam Bedenbaugh: 2nd place (19:10) and Jacob Lindler: 4th place (19:55). Finishing out the MC Boys State Qualifier team are 10th place: Frank Elsenheimer, 11th place: Matthew Radford, 12th place: Landon Compton, 13th place: Noah Fulmer, and 14th place: Easton Milstead. Congratulations to all the MC Cross Country runners. They all ran with 100% effort.
The Rebels travel to PDJohnson Farm on Friday, November 4 to compete for a spot in the AA Championship.
